FILLING
1/2 c Sugar
4 tsp Cornstarch
1/2 c Water or juice from fruit/berries
4 c Fruit/berries

TOPPING
1 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 c Milk
1/4 c Butter or margaine, softened
2 tbsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Filling:
Combine in saucepan sugar and cornstarch. Add water and blend well. Cook
over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Add lemon juice and f
ruit/berries. Turn into baking dish and add t
opping, below.
Topping:
Sift first 4 ingredients into mixing bowl. Add milk and butter and beat
until smooth. Spoon or pour over filling in baking dish. Sprinkle with mixtur
e of sugar and nutmeg.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
