Cinnamon cake with apple cider sauce

   1 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
       1 c  Packed brown sugar
       3 ts Ground cinnamon
     1/4 ts Salt
     1/2 c  Shortening
     3/4 c  Sour cream
       1 ts Baking soda
       1 ts Baking powder
       2    Eggs
            Ice cream; if desired
            Apple cider sauce; (see reci
  
   Recipe by: COUNTRY BAKING Preparation Time: 0:09 Heat oven to 350 degrees.
   Grease and flour 9x9x2" pan. Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in
   large bowl. Cut in shortening using pastry blender until mixture is size of
   small peas; reserve 1/3 cup. Beat in sour cream, baking soda, baking powder
   and eggs until well blended. Spoon into pan; spread evenly. Sprinkle
   reserved flour mixture over batter. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick
   inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Top each serving with
   ice cream and Apple Cider Sauce.
